Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in Gurugram for an Abroad Education Counsellor. The role involves providing guidance to students on overseas education options, including universities, courses, and admission processes. The counsellor will conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, assess academic backgrounds and career goals, and recommend suitable study destinations and programs.

Daily responsibilities include managing inquiries through walk-ins, calls, emails, and online platforms, maintaining accurate student records, and supporting application and documentation processes. The role also requires coordinating with partner institutions, organizing information sessions and events,



and staying updated on international education trends, visa requirements, and admission criteria.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Educational Consulting and Education-related knowledge, particularly in international higher education systems and admission processes.
- Candidates should possess effective Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to understand student profiles and provide appropriate guidance on study and career pathways.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to explain complex information in an accessible way.
- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and a student-centric approach to support diverse backgrounds.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Management, or a related field; a master’s degree or counseling certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in abroad education counseling, admissions, or student advisory services is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple student cases, and use CRM or student management systems effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and comfort with online communication tools and education portals.
