- Perform 2D Echo, M-Mode, Colour Doppler and related echocardiography procedures as advised.
- Prepare patients and explain the procedure before examination.
- Operate and maintain the Echo machine and ensure proper functioning.
- Assist the Cardiologist during cardiac investigations.
- Ensure accurate patient identification and maintain investigation records.
- Maintain proper documentation and reports as per hospital protocols.
- Follow infection control, patient safety and NABH guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the Echo room and equipment.
- Inform the concerned doctor immediately in case of any abnormal or emergency finding.
- Coordinate with OPD, IPD and other departments for scheduled investigations.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Perform any other duties related to the department as assigned by the management.
Qualification
- Diploma / Degree in Cardiac Care Technology / Echocardiography / Medical Imaging Technology or relevant qualification.
- Relevant experience in 2D Echo and Colour Doppler preferred.
- Freshers with relevant qualification may also be considered.
Skills Required
- Good knowledge of echocardiography procedures and equipment.
- Positive communication and patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work with Cardiologists and clinical teams.
- Attention to detail and accurate documentation.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to work in emergency and hospital environments.
Working Conditions
- Full-time hospital-based position.
- May be required to attend emergency/inpatient cases as per hospital requirements.
- Shift duties may be applicable as per department requirements.
