About BoyBoxStudio
BoyBoxStudio is an independent mobile game studio from Delhi, India, making casual, puzzle and arcade games for Android and iOS since 2018. Our current title is SeaPopSaga, a cartoon-style underwater bubble shooter. We are a small, remote-first team.
The role
We are looking for a 2D Artist to create colorful, polished art for our mobile games. You will work closely with our developers to bring characters, UI and game worlds to life.
What you will do
- Create 2D game art: characters, backgrounds, props, icons and UI elements
- Design game assets in a bright, cartoon style that fits casual mobile games
- Prepare sprites and assets for use in Unity
- Create store assets such as app icons, screenshots and banners
- Work with the team to iterate on art based on gameplay and player feedback
What we are looking for
- A portfolio showing 2D art, ideally game art or cartoon-style illustration
- Positive skills in tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Krita, Procreate or similar
- Understanding of color, shape and readability on small mobile screens
- Bonus: experience with sprite sheets, UI design or basic animation
