Job Description – Finance Analyst / Accountant – Casino OperationsDepartment: FinanceReports To: CFO / Finance ManagerLocation: Batumi, GeorgiaEmployment Type: Full-time | Internal RolePosition SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst / Accountant to support the financial operations of a casino and hospitality business. The role will be responsible for financial reporting, accounting support, reconciliations, budgeting, cost analysis, and preparation of management reports across multiple business verticals, including gaming, F&B;, hotel, entertainment, and support functions.The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to ensure accurate and timely financial information for management decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & MISPrepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and MIS reports for management.Prepare revenue, expense, profitability, and departmental performance reports.Consolidate financial information from multiple operational and accounting systems into accurate management reports.Assist in preparing management presentations, financial summaries, and board reports.Ensure all financial reports are completed accurately and submitted within established deadlines.Accounting & Financial ControlSupport day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and general ledger review.Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.Perform bank, cash, revenue, and balance sheet reconciliations.Review financial transactions and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records and proper financial documentation.Coordinate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and outstanding issues.Revenue Reconciliation & AnalysisReconcile revenue reported through casino operational systems with accounting and financial records.Monitor and analyze gaming and non-gaming revenue streams.Support the reconciliation of revenue from gaming, F&B;, hotel, entertainment,



and other business activities.Investigate revenue variances and discrepancies and provide appropriate explanations.Prepare periodic revenue and profitability analysis for management review.Expense & Cost AnalysisMonitor operating expenses and departmental costs.Perform variance analysis between actual results, budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.Support cost center reporting and identify unusual expenses or potential cost-saving opportunities.Analyze key expense categories, including payroll, marketing, F&B; costs, utilities, maintenance, promotions, and operational expenses.Assist management in monitoring departmental budgets and financial performance.Budgeting & ForecastingAssist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.Collect and consolidate financial data from various departments for budgeting purposes.Support financial planning through analysis of historical trends and operational performance.Prepare financial models and scenario analysis to support management decisions and business initiatives.Accounts Payable & Receivable SupportAssist with the review and processing of vendor invoices and payments.Support vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate with relevant departments for follow-up.Ensure appropriate documentation and approvals are maintained for financial transactions.Audit, Compliance & Internal ControlsSupport internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents.Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.Maintain confidentiality and proper control of sensitive financial information.Assist in strengthening internal controls and identifying opportunities to improve financial processes.Business & Financial AnalysisAnalyze financial and operational data and translate findings into meaningful insights.Identify trends, risks, and opportunities that may impact business performance.Support profitability analysis by department, business vertical, and revenue stream.Work closely with operations,



gaming, F&B;, hotel, and other departments to understand financial performance and key business drivers.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA, MBA (Finance) or other professional qualifications will be an advantage.2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, MIS, or finance operations.Experience in the casino, gaming, hospitality, hotel, entertainment, or multi-business environment will be preferred.Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and budgeting.Technical SkillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, lookup functions, complex formulas, and financial analysis.Knowledge of accounting and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar platforms.Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting and visualization tools will be an advantage.Knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools is preferred but not mandatory.Strong PowerPoint skills for preparing management and financial presentations.Core CompetenciesStrong accounting, analytical, and numerical skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Solid understanding of financial controls and reconciliation processes.Ability to analyze complex data and identify meaningful financial insights.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet strict reporting deadlines.High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential financial information.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Working ConditionsOffice-based role within the casino property in Batumi, Georgia.Flexibility may be required during month-end closing, budgeting periods, audits, and peak business periods.Occasional work on weekends or holidays may be required based on operational requirements.Preferred Candidate ProfileWe are looking for a finance professional who combines strong accounting knowledge with analytical ability.
