Solar Square | Art Director

We're looking for a Art Director who takes full ownership of design. Someone who can independently drive the visual direction while working closely with a small, fast-moving team.

/n

This is a hands-on role. You'll be expected to think, create, and execute; while also helping raise the bar for design around you. From billboards to performance ads, everything should feel cohesive, sharp, and unmistakably Solar Square.

Key Responsibilities

/n

- Own and evolve Solar Square's visual identity across all channels

/n

- Design high-impact creatives across formats: print, outdoor, digital, and performance marketing

/n

- Ensure consistency in design language across campaigns and platforms

/n

- Translate briefs into clear, compelling visual concepts

/n

- Collaborate closely with marketing, copy, and growth teams to ship work quickly and effectively

/n

- Provide thoughtful feedback and direction to improve overall design quality

/n

- Bring structure to workflows and help make design output more efficient

/n

- Help plan and execute shoots end-to-end: moodboards, styling direction, on-ground supervision, and post-production closure

/n

- Take full ownership of projects—from idea to final output

/n

Requirements

/n

/n

- Robust portfolio showcasing work across print, outdoor,



and digital

/n

- Ability to independently own projects and make design decisions

/n

- Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, color, and visual storytelling

/n

- Experience working on integrated campaigns (offline + digital)

/n

- Hands-on experience planning and executing shoots

/n

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment

/n

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

/n

- High proficiency across core design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.)—you know what to use when, and why

/n

- Actively using AI tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, Runway, etc.) to accelerate ideation, production, and iterations

/n

- Stays up to date with emerging design tools and workflows—constantly evolving how you work

/n
