Job Summary

Nowvia is looking for an experienced Service Now ITAM Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of hands-on experience in Service Now development, with strong expertise in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and related Service Now modules.

The candidate should be comfortable working with stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions, developing and configuring Service Now applications, and supporting ITAM implementations and enhancements.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, and customize Service Now ITAM solutions based on business requirements.
- Work extensively with Service Now IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes and applications.
- Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, script includes, and REST/SOAP integrations.
- Configure and enhance Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) capabilities.
- Work with asset lifecycle management, inventory, procurement, contracts, and asset reconciliation processes.
- Integrate Service Now ITAM with third-party systems and enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Service Now ITAM implementations.
- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Follow Service Now development best practices and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
- Collaborate with business analysts, administrators, architects, and other technical teams.
- Support upgrades, enhancements, performance improvements,



and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Service Now development.
- Strong experience in Service Now ITAM.
- Hands-on experience with HAM and/or SAM.
- Strong knowledge of Java Script and Service Now scripting.
- Experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Workflows/Flow Designer, and ACLs.
- Experience with Service Now integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Good understanding of Service Now CMDB and Configuration Items.
- Experience with Service Now data imports, transform maps, and data management.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Certification – Mandatory

- Candidates must hold a valid Service Now certification relevant to the role, such as:
- Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Relevant Service Now ITAM/HAM/SAM certification or implementation credential
- Service Now certification is mandatory for this position.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Service Now SAM Pro / HAM Pro.
- Knowledge of Software Asset Management and software licensing models.
- Experience with Service Now Discovery and Service Graph.
- Experience with CMDB and ITOM integrations.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Service Now implementation or upgrade experience.
