We are looking for an experienced E-commerce Accountant who understands online business operations, marketplace accounting, inventory management, GST compliance, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the company's financial operations while ensuring accuracy across multiple sales channels and business transactions.

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for e-commerce and quick commerce business.

/n

- Record and reconcile sales transactions from marketplaces and online platforms.

/n

- Reconcile payment settlements from platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Big Basket, and other online sales channels.

/n

- Maintain accurate records of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

/n

- Perform marketplace settlement reconciliation, payment gateway reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.

/n

- Manage inventory accounting, stock valuation, stock movement, and inventory reconciliation with warehouse records.

/n

- Verify purchase invoices, vendor bills, credit notes, debit notes, and customer refunds.

/n

- Process vendor payments,



employee reimbursements, and operational expenses.

/n

- Handle GST accounting, GST return coordination, input tax credit reconciliation, and statutory compliance.

/n

- Calculate and maintain TDS records and ensure timely statutory deductions and documentation.

/n

- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities during audits and compliance activities.

/n

- Maintain proper accounting documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

/n

- Assist management with budgeting, financial planning, profitability analysis, and cost control initiatives.

/n

Required Skills

/n

/n

- Strong understanding of e-commerce accounting and marketplace financial operations.

/n

- Hands-on experience with marketplace settlement reconciliation and payment gateway reconciliation.

/n

- Good knowledge of inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.

/n

- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.

/n

- Proficiency in Tally Prime, Busy, Zoho Books, or similar ERP/accounting software.

/n

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, MIS reporting, and financial analysis.

/n





- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.

/n

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

/n

- Good communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

/n

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within deadlines.

Qualifications

/n

/n

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B. Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

/n

- 4–5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in e-commerce, retail, marketplace, D2C, or quick commerce accounting.

/n

- Experience handling high-volume financial transactions and inventory-based businesses is preferred.

/n

Preferred Experience

- Marketplace accounting (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Big Basket, etc.).

/n

- Payment gateway reconciliation (Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree, Phone Pe, etc.).

/n

- Inventory accounting, warehouse reconciliation, and stock audits.

/n

- Vendor payment management and purchase accounting.

/n

- Financial reporting, MIS preparation, and profitability analysis.

/n

- Experience working with ERP systems integrated with e-commerce platforms.
