About the Role

APEXWEBSOFT is hiring a *Web Developer* with 1.5–3 years of hands-on experience in *PHP, Laravel, Word Press, Shopify, and MySQL*. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing, customising, maintaining, and optimising websites while delivering clean, scalable, and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain web applications using *PHP and Laravel*.
- Develop and customise *Word Press themes and plugins* based on project requirements.
- Work on *Shopify websites*, including theme customisation and modifications.
- Write clean, secure, reusable, and well-documented *PHP code*.
- Work with *MySQL*, including database queries, management, and optimisation.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise existing websites and web applications.
- Build responsive layouts using *HTML5, CSS3, Java Script, jQuery, and Bootstrap*.
- Integrate *REST APIs* and third-party services.
- Implement website performance, security, and speed optimisation.
- Work with Word Press *hooks, filters, Custom Post Types (CPTs), ACF, and Woo Commerce*.
- Analyse project requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.
- Debug and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and developers to ensure timely project delivery.

Required Skills & Expertise

- *1.5–3 years of professional experience in web development.
- Strong hands-on experience with *PHP and Laravel*.
- Strong experience in *Word Press development*, including custom themes and plugins.
- Practical experience with *Shopify development and theme customisation*.
- Strong knowledge of *MySQL*.
- Proficiency in *HTML5, CSS3, Java Script, jQuery, and Bootstrap*.
- Experience with Word Press *hooks, filters, CPTs, ACF, and Woo Commerce*.




- Experience integrating *REST APIs and third-party services*.
- Familiarity with *Git / Bitbucket*.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with attention to detail.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in *Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field* is preferred.
