Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our IT Services team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The position demands a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and a proactive approach to identifying defects, optimizing test processes, and validating system functionality across various environments. Your expertise will directly contribute to the reliability and performance of our client projects, bridging the gap between development and quality assurance through rigorous validation strategies.

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive automated test scripts using tools such as Mabl, HP/Mercury QTP, and LoadRunner to validate application functionality and performance.

- Conduct thorough API testing and data validation using ODBC, REST, and SOAP protocols, ensuring seamless integration and data integrity.

- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across Alpha and Beta phases to verify that software meets business requirements and user expectations.

- Lead root cause analysis efforts to identify, document, and resolve complex defects, ensuring timely resolution and preventing recurrence.

- Collaborate within Agile, Scrum, and SAFe environments to participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups,



and iterative development cycles.

- Utilize Visual Basic (VB) for legacy system testing and script maintenance where applicable.

- Manage the full testing lifecycle, from test case design and execution to final reporting, adhering to ISTQB CTFL and Advanced Level standards.

- Leverage Postman for efficient API validation and integration testing.

Requirements

Requirements:

- Possess 4 to 6 years of professional experience in quality assurance, specifically within the IT Services sector.

- Demonstrate a proven track record in QA Automation and Test Automation engineering.

- Hold a recognized certification such as ISTQB CTFL or an Advanced Level Test Analyst credential.

- Exhibit strong proficiency in API testing tools, particularly Postman, and experience with ODBC, REST, and SOAP protocols.

- Be well-versed in performance testing tools like LoadRunner and legacy scripting languages including Visual Basic.

- Have hands-on experience with modern automation platforms such as Mabl and traditional tools like HP/Mercury QTP.

- Display a solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Secure methodologies.

- Show capability in conducting UAT, Alpha, and Beta testing phases with a focus on root cause analysis.

- Available for a compensation package in the range of ₹15-18 LPA.
