Job Description:

We need a skilled Data Scientist to build and improve our time-series forecasting models. You will analyse past data, spot trends, and create precise predictions for business growth, inventory, and demand. Your work will help our leaders make smart and fast choices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and scale robust time-series forecasting models for demand, sales, and supply chain metrics. • Clean, process, and analyse large volumes of historical data from multiple sources. • Test new machine learning and statistical algorithms to boost model accuracy. • Deploy models into production and track their performance over time. • Work with product and business teams to turn data insights into clear plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on data science experience with a focus on forecasting. • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. • Programming: Strong coding skills in Python or R, SQL for data extraction. • Modelling Tools:



Deep knowledge of ARIMA, Exponential Smoothing, Prophet, and tree-based machine learning models (XGBoost, LightGBM). • Deep learning experience (LSTM/RNN) is a plus. • Libraries: Proficiency in pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels, and MLflow or similar tracking tools. • Soft Skills: Good problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex data to non-technical teams. • Forecasting of demand, sales, inventory or supply chain metrics, ideally at SKU, store or city level • Hands-on use of ARIMA/SARIMA, Exponential Smoothing, Prophet, and XGBoost/LightGBM for forecasting • Python and SQL, with models deployed and monitored in production (MLflow or similar) • Retail, pharmacy, FMCG, D2C, quick commerce, e-commerce or supply chain domains

Positive to have: • Inventory optimisation, safety stock or replenishment exposure • LSTM/RNN experience; Statistics or Mathematics degree

Additional Information:

• This is 6 days work from office role in Hyderabad • Client is planning for a Walk-in-Drive on 19th September (Mandatory) (No virtual interviews will be conducted)

Bachelor of Engineering - Bachelor of Technology (B.E./B.Tech.) - CS/ E&CE;/ MCA / Statistics/ Mathematics
