About the Role

We’re looking for a target-oriented Business Development Executive (Legal Sales) to drive lead generation, outbound sales, prospect qualification, and appointment setting for legal services.

The ideal candidate should be confident in identifying potential clients, understanding their business and legal requirements, communicating with decision-makers, and converting prospects into qualified opportunities.

Experience in legal services, law firms, LPO, corporate legal services, compliance, contract management, or other B2B professional services will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and identify domestic and international prospects through LinkedIn, email, databases, directories, and other digital channels.
- Understand prospect requirements and position relevant legal, accounting, and bookkeeping services, including corporate/commercial legal, contracts, compliance, employment, IP, LPO, outsourced legal support, bookkeeping, accounting, and finance support services.
- Build targeted prospect lists and identify key decision-makers including Founders, CEOs, CFOs, Finance Heads, Controllers, Legal Heads, General Counsels, HR, Compliance, and Operations Heads.
- Execute outbound campaigns through LinkedIn, cold email, calls, and other relevant channels to generate qualified leads.
- Understand prospect requirements and position relevant legal services, including corporate, contracts, compliance, employment, IP, legal research, LPO, and outsourced legal support.
- Understand basic accounting and bookkeeping requirements, including accounts payable/receivable, bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, payroll support, and outsourced accounting services, and identify relevant opportunities.




- Conduct initial discovery, qualify leads based on need, budget, urgency, and fit, and convert opportunities into meetings, proposals, and sales.
- Manage follow-ups, handle basic sales objections, nurture prospects, and coordinate with the legal, accounting, and bookkeeping teams throughout the sales cycle.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, track pipeline activity and conversions, and prepare regular sales performance reports.

What We’re Looking For

- 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, lead generation, inside sales, or email marketing.
- Basic understanding of corporate law, contracts, compliance, employment law, IP, contract management, legal operations, or LPO is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping concepts, including AP/AR, reconciliations, financial reporting, payroll, and general bookkeeping processes.
- Experience selling legal, accounting, bookkeeping, or other professional services is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with cold email, LinkedIn outreach, prospecting, and outbound sales.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating with business owners, Founders, CEOs, CFOs, Finance Heads, Legal Heads, and other senior decision-makers.
- Strong research, follow-up, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable working with sales targets, KPIs, and CRM tools.
- Ability to understand client needs and communicate the value of legal,



accounting, and bookkeeping services without being overly sales-focused.
- Strong ownership of the sales pipeline from prospecting to conversion.
- International sales experience with US, UK, Australian, or other overseas businesses is preferred. Comfortable working across time zones and with international decision-makers.
- Proven track record with measurable results, supported by a portfolio showing leads generated, outreach, meetings booked, clients closed, revenue achieved, and tools used.
- A law degree, accounting/finance background, or relevant qualified-services experience is an advantage but not mandatory with strong sales experience.

Tech Stacks that you should know

- Digital Prospecting: Proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clay, ZoomInfo, Lusha, and similar tools for identifying and qualifying domestic and international decision-makers.
- Legal Market Research: Familiarity with legal directories and platforms such as Clio, Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Justia, LawTally, and legal job/contract platforms to identify law firms, legal departments, and service opportunities.
- CRM & Sales Automation: Working knowledge of HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Instantly, Smartlead, and similar tools for managing pipelines, email outreach, follow-ups, and lead nurturing.
