Backend Developer - Digital Industries

The team

Deloitte's Digital Industries practice works at the intersection of manufacturing, automation, and digital technology to help

industrial clients modernise their platforms and operations. Our engineering teams build secure, scalable back-end

services and APIs that power digital factory solutions and intelligent industrial workflows.

Your work profile

As a Backend Developer, you will design and build scalable APIs and back-end services using C#, contributing to

cloud-native platforms that support digital industrial operations.

You will apply security-by-design principles, work with container technologies, collaborate in Agile / Scrum teams, and

use modern AI tooling, including Claude Code, MCP, and agents, to accelerate development workflows.

Key skills required:

- Proven experience developing APIs and scalable services in C#





- Experience with container technologies such as Docker; Kubernetes experience is preferred

- Knowledge of cloud and platform environments

- Knowledge of Temporal.io for workflow orchestration

- Understanding of security-by-design principles and up-to-date architecture patterns

- Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams, including active participation in sprint ceremonies

- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, MCP, and agents

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience implementing relationship-based access control concepts

- Previous exposure to regulated or industrial software environments

Success Metrics

- Delivery of secure, scalable APIs within sprint commitments

- Reliable container deployments and service uptime

- Compliance with code-quality and security standards

- Adoption of AI tooling to measurably improve delivery throughput

- Proficiency in English is required.
