- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PI System components, including PI Data Archive, PI AF (Asset Framework), PI Vision, and PI Interfaces.
- Strong experience with PI System architecture, configuration, and administration.
- Proficient in handling various architectures like PI Collective, HA and DR.
- Expertise in PI System client tools such as PI SMT, PI System Explorer & PI Datalink
- Knowledge of PI System security configurations and user access management.
- Experience with data integration and working with third-party interfaces or data connectors.
- Expertise in performance tuning and troubleshooting of PI System components.
- Programming & Scripting:
- Solid scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell or similar.
- Familiarity with SQL for querying and reporting on PI System data.
- Experience with REST APIs and web services for integrating PI System with other applications and databases.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to the PI System and its integration with other systems.
- Ability to analyze and optimize the PI Systems performance to meet business needs.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to create clear,



concise documentation and user guides.
- Experience in providing user support and training in technical systems.
- Onsite working experience.
- PI System certification.
- Additional Skills (Preferred but not required):
- Familiarity with integration of data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or others with PI System.

Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and maintain the AVEVA PI System including PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, and PI Interfaces/Connectors.
- Work with operations, IT, and engineering teams to define and implement data acquisition strategies.
- Configure and optimize interface/connector between PI and control systems (e.g., OPC, Modbus, DCS, SCADA).
- Build Asset Framework hierarchies, templates, event frames, and analytics.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using PI Vision.
- Troubleshoot System related.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across PI Infrastructure.
- Document system architecture, configurations, and user guides.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations and patch management.
- Training end-users and provide technical support.
