- Supervise day-to-day stores operations at every live project through the site store in-charges, including storage planning, material preservation and stacking discipline.
- Run cycle counts and physical verification, reconcile variances, and drive down slow-moving, non-moving and ageing stock.
- Reconcile client-supplied materials (steel, cement, structural steel, RMC) and contractor bulk materials monthly, controlling wastage against agreed norms.
- Publish surplus reports and redeploy material between projects before fresh procurement is raised, execute inter-project and intercompany transfers correctly, and manage scrap disposal as per policy.
- Maintain the site asset register with Project and EPC heads, including shuttering, formwork and plant movement.
- Face internal and statutory audits for the function, close observations on time, and maintain documentation to ISO 9001:2015.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Billing, QS, Execution and Accounts on requirements, consumption certification and stock valuation.
- Recruit, train and develop site store teams, and build a bench so no site depends on one person.
