Job Purpose:
To plan, coordinate, and monitor manufacturing activities to ensure timely production, optimum resource utilization, quality, safety, and cost-effective manufacturing of cranes and industrial products.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.
- Monitor production progress against planned targets.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Quality, Stores, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments.
- Ensure availability of required raw materials, components, drawings, tools, and manpower.
- Supervise fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, and other manufacturing activities.
- Ensure production is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor manpower productivity and allocate workers according to production requirements.
- Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective action.
- Minimize rejection, rework, material wastage, and production downtime.
- Maintain daily production records and prepare MIS reports.
- Track production efficiency, output, and job completion status.
- Coordinate with the Quality team to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of machines, tools, and equipment.
- Implement 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen,



and continuous improvement practices.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures.
- Support cost-reduction and productivity-improvement initiatives.
- Ensure finished products are completed and handed over to the Dispatch/Installation team on time.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of fabrication and welding processes
- Understanding of mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of cranes/heavy engineering manufacturing is preferred
- Manpower and shop-floor management
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and production MIS
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is an advantage
- Valuable communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work under production deadlines

Qualification

B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience may also be considered.

Experience

2–5 years of experience in production/manufacturing, preferably in crane manufacturing, heavy fabrication, structural fabrication, or industrial machinery.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
