Role Overview:

You will be responsible for ensuring timely, accurate news stories. Common duties will include developing news stories, writing or editing scripts and overseeing news segment production.

Responsibilities:
Researching or evaluating news story ideas
Writing or editing scripts for News Anchors or Reporters
Communicating with Reporters, News Anchors, Editors and other team members to ensure streamlined news reporting
Studio production for a daily news broadcast.



PCR based live news shows.
Selecting or approving videos, graphics and other broadcast media
Ensuring ethical journalism
Working with technical staff to support broadcasting

Skills:
2 - 4 years of experience in news production
Robust research capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The ability to multitask and work under deadline pressure
Proficiency with video editing and related technology, such as Adobe Premiere Pro
Interviewing skills to discuss topics, gather quotes and support Reporters
Scripting skills to combine storytelling with ethical, accurate reporting
Flexibility to quickly conduct research on breaking news
