- Manage overall chemical factory operations and production activities.
- Plan and monitor production schedules and achieve production targets.
- Ensure quality, safety, EHS and statutory compliance.
- Manage manpower, shifts, discipline and team performance.
- Coordinate with QC, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase and Accounts departments.
- Monitor raw materials, inventory, wastage and production costs.
- Identify process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Handle plant maintenance and breakdown-related coordination.
- Maintain production records, reports and MIS.
- Ensure protected handling, storage and use of chemicals.
- Resolve operational issues and ensure smooth plant functioning.Role & responsibilities
