Role Summary
The Training Coordinator will plan, schedule, and coordinate training programs for retail store employees at The Sleep
Company. The role involves managing training calendars, tracking attendance, and preparing MIS reports on training
coverage and effectiveness. It also requires close coordination with store managers and trainers to ensure smooth
execution across store locations.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule training sessions (induction, product, soft skills, sales/retail training) across store
locations
Maintain training calendars, attendance records, and trainer schedules
Prepare and update MIS reports on training coverage, effectiveness, and completion rates




Liaise with store managers to identify training needs
Manage logistics for training programs venues, materials, presentations, and vendor coordination
Track post-training feedback and follow up on action items
Maintain accurate training documentation and records for audits/compliance
Support onboarding-related training for new retail joiners

Requirements
Graduate in any discipline; HR/L&D; specialization preferred
1-3 years of experience in training coordination, HR operations, or L&D; support
Solid proficiency in MIS/Excel is a must
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to multitask and manage schedules across multiple store locations
Prior experience in retail environment is a plus

Skills
Advanced Excel: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, conditional formatting, data validation
Training MIS reporting attendance %, completion rate, coverage tracking dashboards
Training calendar/scheduling tools (Excel-based or LMS)
Cross-location coordination with store managers across multiple stores
Vendor/trainer coordination and logistics management
Basic data analysis to flag training gaps or drop-offs
