Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Duty Medical Officer (DMO) to provide medical care to patients, attend to emergency cases, monitor inpatients, and coordinate with consultants and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct initial assessment and clinical examination of patients.
- Attend to emergency and urgent medical cases and provide appropriate initial management.
- Monitor the clinical condition and vital signs of inpatients.
- Review investigation reports and document clinical findings.
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient case sheets and medical records.
- Follow treatment plans and instructions provided by consultants.
- Coordinate with consultants regarding changes in patient condition.
- Assist in procedures and clinical interventions as required.
- Conduct regular patient reviews and ensure timely escalation of critical cases.
- Coordinate with nursing, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and other departments.
- Ensure proper patient handover between shifts.




- Communicate appropriately with patients and their attendants regarding the care process.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection-control practices, medication-safety procedures, and patient-safety standards.
- Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation.
- Participate in clinical meetings, training programs, audits, and quality-improvement activities.

Qualification & Skills

- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid registration with the appropriate State Medical Council/National Medical Commission, as applicable.
- 1–5 years of clinical experience; hospital experience preferred.
- Good clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong documentation and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work in a hospital environment and assigned shifts.
