GST Accountant – One-Day Assignment

Position: GST Accountant / GST Return Filing Consultant
Engagement: One-day / Part-time assignment
Location: Seawoods,Navi Mumbai
Business: Small e-commerce business selling products through online platforms

We are looking for an experienced GST Accountant/Consultant to visit us for one day and assist with our GST compliance and return filing.

Responsibilities

- Review our GST registration and basic business details.
- Review sales made and relevant sales invoices.
- Check GST collected on sales and ensure the correct GST rates/tax amounts are reported.
- Review purchase invoices/input tax credit, wherever applicable.
- Reconcile the available sales information with Flipkart settlement/sales reports.
- Prepare and file the applicable GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, as applicable for the month.
- Ensure the return is filed correctly and obtain the filing acknowledgement.
- Explain to the business owner the GST payable,



if any, and any important compliance requirements for the following months.
- Advise on maintaining proper GST records for future online sales.

Requirements

- Experience in GST return filing for e-commerce/marketplace sellers, preferably Flipkart.
- Good knowledge of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, e-commerce sales and GST reconciliation.
- Ability to independently complete the filing and explain the process clearly.
- CA/CA Inter/experienced GST practitioner preferred.

- Newly started business
- Online sales through Flipkart
- Current month's sales approximately ₹25000
- Very low transaction volume at present
