Design Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design Engineer to develop, improve, and optimize product designs and engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative, cost-effective, and manufacturable designs while ensuring quality, performance, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop product designs, models, and technical drawings using CAD software.
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and quality teams to ensure design efficiency.
- Create prototypes and support testing and validation activities.
- Review and improve existing product designs for performance, reliability, and cost reduction.
- Prepare BOMs (Bill of Materials), specifications, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Support project planning, timelines, and technical problem-solving.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for component selection and manufacturing processes.
- Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.




- Proven experience in product design or engineering design roles.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with simulation and analysis tools is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, FMEA, and DFM/DFA principles.
- Project management exposure is a plus.
- Industry certification relevant to design engineering is preferred.
