Position: AutoCAD Operator

Experience: 0 To 5 Years
Education: Diploma / Bachelors / Masters Degree in Geo-Informatics, GIS, Remote Sensing, Geography or related field
Location: Mumbai / Andheri East, SEEPZ

Job Summary

We are looking for an AutoCAD Operator to support GIS and CAD-based mapping, digitization, editing and maintenance of geospatial datasets. The candidate will be responsible for accurate data creation, quality checks and timely completion of assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform digitization and mapping activities using GIS and AutoCAD platforms.
- Prepare and update Base Maps using GIS and CAD tools.
- Create, edit and maintain geospatial datasets.
- Perform AutoCAD drafting, editing and drawing modifications.
- Interpret satellite imagery, maps and other spatial data.
- Conduct self-QC to ensure accuracy and data quality before submission.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned files and projects.
- Perform georeferencing of vector and raster datasets.
- Maintain the integrity, accuracy and reliability of spatial data.
- Perform spatial editing and data correction using GIS and AutoCAD Map.
- Support testing, deployment and implementation of GIS tools and workflows.
- Follow project standards, guidelines and quality requirements.

Required Skills





- Positive knowledge of AutoCAD / AutoCAD Map.
- Good knowledge of ArcGIS / ArcGIS Pro / QGIS.
- Knowledge of GIS digitization and base map preparation.
- Knowledge of image interpretation and cartographic principles.
- Proficiency in GIS operations such as:

- Clip
- Merge
- Buffer
- Dissolve
- Intersection
- Union

- Knowledge of advanced editing tools in ArcGIS and QGIS.
- Knowledge of georeferencing for vector and raster data.
- Knowledge of Spatial Adjustment in GIS and AutoCAD Map.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Map Object Data.
- Good attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

- QGIS

Educational Qualification

Diploma / Bachelors / Masters Degree in: Geo-Informatic GIS Remote Sensing Geography Geomatics or related discipline

Experience

05 Years of relevant experience in AutoCAD, GIS, Mapping, Digitization or Base Map projects Freshers with relevant academic knowledge in GIS/AutoCAD may also be considered GIS QC, Quality Control, Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics
