Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage trade settlements process from pre-matching to final settlement, ensuring timely and accurate processing of trades.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues related to trade settlements, including reconciliations and disputes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external counterparties, such as brokers and custodians, to ensure smooth trade execution and settlement.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the trade settlements process and implement changes as needed.
Job Requirements :
- 8-15 years of experience in investment banking or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of trade processing, including pre-matching, confirmation, settlements, and reconciliations.
- Experience working with various systems used for trade capture, processing, and settlement (e.g., FIX protocol).
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
