Job Summary:

We are looking for an L2 Application Support Engineer Oracle FLEXCUBE (Core Banking) to support a leading bank. The ideal candidate should have experience in application support, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, functional knowledge of FLEXCUBE CBS, and hands-on experience with PL/SQL, APIs, Linux/Unix, ITSM tools, and incident and service request management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Resolve complex issues and errors requiring deep-dive analysis.
- Conduct incident analysis.
- Troubleshoot issues and identify workarounds.
- Perform non-standard service requests that do not have SOPs or KEDB entries.
- Support DC-DR drills for the respective application.
- Coordinate with the L3 team/vendor to facilitate the logical closure of tickets.
- Perform UAT deployment and testing of bug fixes.
- Implement change management and break-fix processes.
- Manage critical activities such as database password changes and DR drill activities.
- Support the Interface Team when transactions fail through APIs.
- Perform RWA/GL reconciliation activities.
- Perform master maintenance activities, including holiday marking, product creation, branch creation, role mapping, and
- FD/RD/CASA rate maintenance.
- Prepare SQL queries for RBI reports (ad hoc).




- Automate recurring queries and processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

- 4 to 7 years of experience in Application Support.
- Valuable analytical skills for resolving issues.
- Functional knowledge of banking and financial applications (FLEXCUBE CBS).
- Strong knowledge of PL/SQL queries.
- Knowledge of APIs and log analysis.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix.
- Experience using ITSM tools.
- Knowledge of managing service requests and incidents.
