Role & responsibilities

- Prepare accurate Electrical BOQs, quantity take-offs, and material estimates.
- Prepare detailed shop/GFC drawings for electrical systems.
- Develop floor-wise electrical layouts, including:
- Power layouts
- Lighting layouts
- Small power layouts
- DB/Panel layouts
- Cable tray and conduit layouts
- Earthing layouts
- Electrical equipment layouts

- Prepare and update Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) for electrical distribution systems.
- Prepare electrical load schedules and assist with load calculations.
- Coordinate electrical designs with HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, civil, and architectural teams.
- Review drawings and incorporate site/consultant/client comments.
- Ensure designs and drawings comply with applicable IS/IEC standards, NBC, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with project/site teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Prepare revisions and as-built drawings wherever required.




- Ensure timely submission of drawings and BOQs as per project schedules.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong knowledge of Electrical Design & Building/MEP Services.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Positive understanding of Power, Lighting, DB, Cable Tray, Earthing, and Electrical Distribution systems.
- Ability to read and prepare SLDs and electrical shop/GFC drawings.
- Knowledge of electrical load calculation, cable sizing, and basic design calculations will be preferred.

Candidate Profile

- 2 to 10 years of relevant experience in Electrical Design Engineering.
- BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute.
- Practical experience in preparing BOQs, electrical layouts, shop drawings, and SLDs.
