CREDIT UNDERWRITER SME

Locations: Bangalore | Chennai | Hyderabad

Experience Required:

812 years of overall experience in SME/ Working Capital Credit Underwriting

CA Qualified: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities:

- Underwrite and evaluate SME proposals

- Assess financial statements, ITRs, banking, cash flows and business performance

- Analyze creditworthiness, repayment capacity and overall risk profile

- Evaluate financial & non-financial parameters and identify key credit risks

- Review business vintage, industry risk, collateral/security and banking conduct

- Ensure adherence to credit policies, risk parameters and regulatory guidelines

- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Legal and Technical teams for smooth processing

- Take appropriate credit decisions while maintaining portfolio quality

Candidate Profile:

- Robust experience in SME / Business Finance Credit Underwriting

- Good understanding of financial analysis, credit appraisal and risk assessment

- Exposure to self-employed / business customer segments preferred

- Strong analytical and decision-making skills

- Candidates from Banks / NBFCs / Financial Institutions preferred
