Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

- Plan, schedule, and execute network patching activities for routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers.

- Apply firmware, operating system, and security patches during approved maintenance windows.

- Perform pre-patch assessments, backups, and post-patch validation checks.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any patch-related issues; initiate rollback if required.

- Maintain proper documentation of patch activities, incident reports, and RCA.

- Collaborate with IT Operations, Security, and Application teams.

- Follow ITIL-based change management and CAB approval processes.

- Ensure continuous service availability and compliance with security standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- 711 years of experience in network patching, configuration management, and device hardening.

- Hands-on experience with Cisco / Juniper / Palo Alto / Fortinet devices.

- Knowledge of network monitoring and automation tools.

- Flexible to work in 24x7 rotational shifts (No fixed weekend off).

- Solid communication and coordination skills.
