Role & responsibilities

- Support the design and development activities for advanced electrical systems for textile machines, focusing on innovation and industry compliance.
- Perform detailed calculations for electrical parameters, including load analysis, circuit sizing, and cable sizing, cooling requirements and component selection, ensuring safety and operational excellence.
- Contribute the complete design lifecycle activities wherever required, including concept development, prototyping, testing, and final implementation for complex projects.
- Prepare cost-efficient designs while maintaining high standards of quality, performance, and reliability adhering with international standards.
- Design circuit and wiring diagrams, define physical layout for seamless integration with mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex design challenges, whenever required.
- Preparing technical documentation, including comprehensive calculations,



schematics, and specifications as per industry standards.
- Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including production and mechanical engineering, to ensure streamlined project execution.
- Support the internal team to source cost-effective, high-quality components, driving strategic procurement.

Preferred candidate profile

- Hands-on experience in electrical design within textile machinery or related industries.
- Proficiency in advanced electrical CAD tools and design software, coupled with expertise in performing intricate load calculations and circuit analyses.
- Proficiency in testing and fault analysis.
- Solid emphasis on electrical / industrial safety.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and Interpersonal skills.
