- Conduct OPD, IPD and emergency consultations.
- Assess and diagnose surgical conditions.
- Perform general and emergency surgical procedures.
- Perform appendectomy, hernia repair and cholecystectomy.
- Perform laparoscopic and open surgeries as per clinical privileges.
- Manage surgical emergencies and trauma cases.
- Perform wound care, debridement, biopsy and abscess drainage.
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative patients.
- Monitor patients and manage post-operative complications.
- Coordinate with other specialties when required.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and operative notes.
- Counsel patients and attendants regarding treatment and follow-up.
- Follow hospital, NABH and patient-safety protocols.
- Participate in clinical audits, meetings and quality improvement activities.
