About Position:

We are looking for an experienced Data Product Owner to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and data engineering teams. The ideal candidate will drive enterprise data platform initiatives, define product roadmaps, manage priorities, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality data products that support Supply Chain, Finance, Master Data Management, and enterprise analytics objectives.

What You'll Do:

- Own and manage the Data Engineering product backlog and prioritize features based on business value and strategic objectives.
- Define and maintain the product roadmap for enterprise data platforms and data products.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, functional requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Data Engineering teams to deliver scalable data pipelines and data products.
- Support development initiatives involving Databricks, PySpark, data lakes, and modern data platforms.
- Conduct SQL-based data analysis, data validation, reconciliation, and quality assessments.
- Define and validate business rules, data transformations, and data consumption requirements.
- Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and release planning activities.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and ensure business sign-off for releases.
- Drive issue resolution and manage requirement clarifications throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams on data platform enhancements and modernization initiatives.
- Support data governance, master data management, and data quality initiatives.
- Monitor product adoption and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Operations,



and business teams to maximize business value from data platforms.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 10-12 years of overall IT experience with significant experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Data Product Owner.
- Strong experience managing product backlogs, roadmaps, and Agile delivery processes.
- Expertise in requirement gathering, user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, and backlog prioritization.
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and business value realization.
- Strong SQL skills with extensive experience in data analysis, reconciliation, and validation.
- Experience performing data quality assessments and identifying data integrity issues.
- Strong understanding of ETL and ELT processes.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data architecture principles.
- Experience working with enterprise data platforms and analytics ecosystems.
- Understanding of master data management and data governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with Databricks and up-to-date cloud-based data platforms.
- Understanding of PySpark-based data engineering workflows.
- Ability to work closely with Data Engineers on pipeline design, implementation, and optimization.
- Knowledge of data lake and lakehouse architectures.
- Experience reviewing technical designs and validating business requirements against engineering solutions.
- Strong experience planning and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ability to define test scenarios, business validation criteria, and acceptance processes.
- Experience coordinating business users during testing cycles.
- Robust focus on quality assurance and solution validation.
- Understanding of Supply Chain processes and business operations.




- Familiarity with ERP systems and enterprise business applications.
- Knowledge of Finance and operational reporting processes.
- Experience supporting enterprise data management initiatives.
- Understanding of data governance, compliance, and stewardship practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams.
- Ability to communicate effectively with executives, business leaders, architects, and engineering teams.
- Strong facilitation and workshop management capabilities.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving consensus on priorities.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and globally distributed environments.
