Accountant – Roles & ResponsibilitiesHandle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally Prime.
Prepare and maintain Sales, Purchase, Receipt, Payment, Journal and Contra vouchers.
Manage GST activities including sales/purchase data, GST reconciliation, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and related workings.
Prepare TDS workings, deduction details, payment and return-related documentation.
Handle ESI & PF monthly workings, employee deductions and statutory payment records.
Assist in Income Tax (IT) workings, including data preparation, reconciliations and coordination with auditors/consultants.
Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and reconcile customer/vendor ledgers.
Maintain Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable and follow up on outstanding payments.
Verify invoices, purchase orders, debit notes, credit notes and supporting documents.
Prepare monthly accounting reports and MIS as required by management.
Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and statutory compliance.




Coordinate with customers, vendors, banks, auditors and internal departments for accounting-related matters.
Handle skilled email drafting and correspondence with customers, vendors and management.
Communicate clearly and professionally through email, phone and WhatsApp.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
Perform other accounting and finance-related activities assigned by management.
Required SkillsGood knowledge of Tally Prime
Working knowledge of GST, TDS, ESI & PF
Knowledge of Income Tax workings
Good MS Excel skills
Positive accounting and reconciliation skills
Good email drafting and communication skills
Ability to coordinate with customers, vendors and statutory consultants
Valuable attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet statutory deadlines and maintain proper records
