Role & responsibilities

Own end-to-end catalog lifecycle management for designated categories
Review and validate supplier catalog submissions for accuracy, completeness & compliance
Align catalog content with contracts, negotiated terms, and pricing structures
Rationalize and cleanse catalog dataremove duplicates, merge similar items, optimize assortment
Ensure catalog usability and alignment to guided buying standards (searchability, taxonomy, clarity)
Resolve catalog exceptions (wrong UoM, invalid price, discontinued items, supplier mapping issues)
Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring catalog issues; recommend fixes to improve data integrity
Partner with category managers to ensure catalog reflects latest negotiated items
Publish catalog governance dashboards (catalog accuracy %, update cycles, errors, adoption metrics)
Train requesters on catalog navigation & best practices; support reduction of free-text PRs
Ensure all catalog updates comply with procurement policy & audit requirements
