Job Summary

As an OpenText Capture Center Developer & Support Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, supporting, and maintaining enterprise document capture, imaging, and intelligent document processing solutions using OpenText Capture Center. You will work closely with business users, application teams, and content management stakeholders to streamline document ingestion, classification, indexing, validation, and integration with downstream ECM and business applications. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement of document capture and automation processes.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, develop, and support OpenText Capture Center solutions for document capture and processing.Design and maintain document classification, indexing, extraction, validation, and workflow configurations.Support end-to-end document ingestion processes including scanning, OCR, data extraction, and document routing.Troubleshoot and resolve document processing failures, indexing issues, OCR errors, and production incidents.Integrate OpenText Capture Center with ECM platforms, enterprise applications, databases, and business workflows.Monitor document processing queues, system performance, and application health to ensure SLA compliance.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement document automation solutions.Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.Manage application deployments, upgrades, patches, and release activities.Support Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request processes through ServiceNow.Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge articles.Participate in automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance document processing efficiency.

Other Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in OpenText Capture Center, document capture, or ECM-related technologies.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Experience working with large-scale document processing and content management environments.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.Experience working in global delivery and support environments.Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.Exposure to Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), AI-based OCR, machine learning-based classification, and GenAI-powered document automation is an added advantage.OpenText certifications and ECM-related certifications are preferred.Experience in regulated industries such as Healthcare, Life Sciences, Financial Services, or Manufacturing is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
