Key Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities : We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined NetDevOps Engineer (L1) to join our Network Engineering and Automation team. The ideal candidate should have foundational networking knowledge along with a passion for coding, automation, and infrastructure management. This role will focus on supporting network automation initiatives, developing Python-based scripts, troubleshooting network issues, and assisting in the implementation of automated network operations.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n• Develop, maintain, and support network automation scripts using Python.\r\n• Assist in automating repetitive network operational tasks and workflows.\r\n• Work with networking devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.\r\n• Monitor network health, performance, and availability.\r\n• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity and configuration issues.\r\n• Support configuration management and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.\r\n• Collaborate with network and DevOps teams to improve operational efficiency.\r\n• Utilize APIs to interact with network devices and management platforms.\r\n• Document automation workflows, scripts, and operational procedures.\r\n• Participate in incident management, change implementation, and problem resolution activities.\r\n• Assist in testing and validating automation solutions before deployment.\r\n• Follow IT security and compliance standards during automation development.\r\n

Skill Requirements

Skill Requirement : Networking Fundamentals\r\n• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANs, STP, and subnetting.\r\n• Basic knowledge of routing and switching concepts.\r\n• Familiarity with network protocols such as: \r\no BGP\r\no OSPF\r\no EIGRP (preferred)\r\no SNMP\r\no SSH\r\n• Understanding of network troubleshooting methodologies.\r\nProgramming & Automation\r\n• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python.\r\n• Understanding of:



\r\no Variables\r\no Functions\r\no Loops\r\no Error handling\r\no File handling\r\no Object-Oriented Programming (preferred)\r\n• Experience using Python libraries such as: \r\no Netmiko\r\no Paramiko\r\no Requests\r\no NAPALM (preferred)\r\nDevOps & Automation Tools\r\n• Basic understanding of: \r\no Git/GitHub\r\no REST APIs\r\no JSON/YAML\r\no CI/CD concepts\r\no Linux operating system\r\n• Exposure to automation tools such as: \r\no Ansible\r\no Terraform (positive to have)\r\nMonitoring & Operations\r\n• Familiarity with network monitoring tools.\r\n• Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot issues.\r\n• Understanding of incident, change, and problem management processes.\r\n
