The Opportunity:

UST is looking for Team Leader; you will play a critical role in delivering a robust control environment and supporting Investment Teams to ensure effective pre- and post-trade mandate restriction monitoring all within challenging deadlines.

You will provide subject matter expertise, particularly in the oversight and delivery of complex queries and tasks, and handling ad-hoc requests.

We are looking for someone who likes working as part of a team, is comfortable with a fast-paced operations environment and has a solid attention to detail.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Completion of custodian opening documentation • Managing of custodian standing instructions for repatriation of non base currencies

- Updating and maintenance of Standing Settlement instructions in DTCC

- Opening of custody markets for clients and Client funds including complex documented markets • Setup of third party accounts on our platform to facilitate CFD and Loan accounts

- Maintenance of broker related macros to facilitate trade settlement

- Monitoring of India trading accounts and completion of FPI licence renewals

- Perform checks on behalf of investment to check market account validity prior to trading

- Setup of Wall Street Office to facilitate Loan trading

- Setup of Triana to facilitate CFD trading

- Support projects to implement Global Custodian Direct with existing and new custodians

- Escalate issues immediately to the Team Leader Skills and Behaviours Required?

Required Skills:

- 2 - 4 years’ experience within an onboarding or custodian account opening team

- A good understanding of trade operations and settlements would be adventagious

- Experience of managing SSI’s within DTCC

- A good understanding of SWIFT

- Managing a high volume of varied tasks efficiently and meeting internal and external deadlines.

- Previous experience working within an Asset Management firm or similar.

- Strong organisational abilities are needed to manage multiple events simultaneously, prioritising tasks and maintaining a smooth and efficient workflow.

- A motivated, committed and enthusiastic person who thrives working in a close team environment

- The ability to identify issues and develop solutions quickly and effectively is important for addressing any challenges that may arise during the onboarding process.

- The ability to analyse data and workflows to help improve processes and enhance the efficiency of the onboarding experience.

- A proactive learner that is quick at picking up new processes

- Can work on own initiative whilst ensuring the team manager is aware of what you are delivering • A resilient team member who is good at building relationships
