Job Title: R&D; Manager LED Lighting

Role Summary

Responsible for design, development, and improvement of outdoor LED lighting products such as street lights, flood lights, and highbay luminaires.

Key Responsibilities
Develop outdoor LED lighting products (Street, Flood, Highbay etc).
Design LED drivers, optics, and thermal systems.
Prepare BOM, build prototypes, and conduct testing.
Ensure compliance with BIS, IEC, LM79, LM80, TM21, IP ratings.
Improve product efficiency, reliability, and cost.
Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with production, quality, and suppliers.
Support certification and external lab testing.

Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech – Electrical/Electronics
8–12 years experience in LED Lighting R&D;

Key Skills
Outdoor LED lighting design (Street, Flood, Highbay)
LED drivers, optics & thermal management
Lab testing (Integrating Sphere, Goniophotometer)
BOM, prototyping & validation
Standards & compliance knowledge
