JOB DESCRIPTION RELATIONSHIP MANAGER | MUTUAL FUND AMC

Position: Relationship Manager (RM)
Grade: JB11

Function: Sales / Distribution

Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage relationships with Distributors, IFAs, Banks, Wealth Managers and other distribution partners.
Drive mutual fund business through the assigned distribution network.
Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual AUM / sales targets.
Promote the AMC's mutual fund products and investment solutions to distribution partners.
Conduct regular meetings with distributors and provide product updates, market insights and investment information.
Generate business through SIP, lump-sum investments, systematic transfer plans and other mutual fund solutions.
Identify opportunities to increase AUM, inflows and distributor activation.
Build strong relationships with key partners and improve distributor engagement.
Conduct product presentations, investor/distributor meets and training sessions when required.
Monitor distributor-wise business performance, AUM and sales trends.
Track market developments and competitor activity and share relevant insights with management.




Coordinate with internal teams for onboarding, transaction processing, service requests and issue resolution.
Ensure proper documentation and adherence to SEBI/AMFI and company compliance requirements.
Maintain regular MIS, sales pipeline and AUM reports.
Develop the assigned territory and identify current distribution opportunities.

Candidate Profile
Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM/Finance qualification preferred.
Experience in Mutual Funds / AMC / Wealth Management / Broking / Banking / BFSI.
Experience in B2B sales / channel sales / distributor management preferred.
Strong understanding of mutual fund products and investment concepts.
Positive relationship management and business development skills.
Solid communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage and develop a network of distributors/partners.
