Role & responsibilities
Management of legal recovery actions through the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), Debt Recovery Tribunals (DRT), Arbitration and Conciliation, Lok Adalat.
A robust understanding of SARFAESI proceeding along with demonstrated experience in handling proceedings under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 and the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007
Conversant with the trial and appellate courts and tribunals practices and procedures
Initiation, follow up, and coordination with Advocates, Resolution professionals and regulatory bodies to ensure timely and effective recovery of NPAs.
Excellent written and oral communication and valuable command over vetting and drafting of documents, replies, representations and escalations
Comprehensive knowledge of criminal law,



along with a robust command of applicable civil laws, including recoveryrelated statutes governing Banks and NBFCs.
Resolution of the escalations by the customer with the Reserve Bank of India and other government authorities
Use of technology for presentation of the work as well as MIS to the management

Preferred candidate profile

Looking for a law graduate with a minimum 5 years PQE in a Bank or NBFC, wellversed in both civil and criminal court proceedings, capable of independently managing the legal portfolio, and skilled in guiding and mentoring team members.
