GST Accountant Indirect Taxation

Key Responsibilities
Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9).
GST compliance, tax liability computation, and ITC reconciliation.
Handling GSTR-2A/2B reconciliations and vendor GST follow-ups.
Managing Accounts Payable (vendor invoices, payments, reconciliations) and Accounts Receivable (customer invoicing, collections tracking, debtor reconciliations).
Bank reconciliations and support in monthly and yearly closing activities.
E-Way Bill generation and maintenance of GST records.
Responding to GST notices and coordinating with auditors and consultants.
Preparation of MIS reports and support in statutory, internal, and tax audits.

Desired Skills
Robust knowledge of GST and Indirect Taxation.
Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and statutory compliance.
Working knowledge of Tally/ERP and Advanced Excel.
Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
