Overview:

We are hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer with solid hands-on experience in mold design and SolidWorks for a product development and manufacturing setting. The role requires someone actively involved in design work, not purely managerial or review-based.

Key Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Mechanical Design
Strong hands-on experience in Mold Design (Injection Mold / Plastic Components / Tooling)
Robust proficiency in SolidWorks is mandatory
Experience in plastic part design, DFM/DFA, GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturing drawings
Hands-on involvement in current role is required
Experience working with tooling vendors, mold trials, and manufacturability improvements
Ability to independently handle 3D modeling, assemblies, detailed drawings, and BOMs
Experience with sheet metal, fixtures, jigs, or electromechanical assemblies is an added advantage
Medical device industry experience is preferred

Responsibilities:




Design and develop plastic and mechanical components for manufacturing
Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and production drawings in SolidWorks
Work closely with tooling vendors and manufacturing teams during mold development and trials
Perform DFM/DFA reviews and support product optimization
Support prototype development, testing, validation, and production release
Ensure designs meet quality, cost, and manufacturability requirements

Preferred:
Medical device / precision engineering background
Experience with Moldflow, tooling validation, or injection molding processes
Diploma in Tool & Die / Mechanical Engineering background is a plus

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
