Position: Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor and customer accounts.
Prepare and maintain bank, cash, purchase, sales, journal, and general ledger entries.
Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances within applicable timelines.
Prepare and verify GST returns, TDS returns, and related documentation.
Assist in preparation of Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and cash-flow statements.
Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up for timely payments/collections.
Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial records and supporting documents.
Assist with internal and statutory audits.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices, vouchers, bills, and financial records.
Review accounting entries and ensure compliance with company accounting policies.
Monitor expenses and assist management with financial analysis and reporting.




Maintain proper records of fixed assets and depreciation.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning activities.
Coordinate with banks, vendors, customers, consultants, and other stakeholders whenever required.
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification.
CA Inter / M.Com would be an added advantage.
4–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
Robust knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Good working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally Prime.
Knowledge of ERP/accounting systems will be an advantage.
