The Ledger Squad Accounting is looking for an experienced Australian Taxation Team Leader to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Australian taxation, compliance, and tax return preparation, along with the ability to review work, guide team members, and communicate effectively with clients.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review Australian individual and business tax returns.
Handle taxation matters for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
Prepare and review BAS and IAS.
Review tax returns and work prepared by junior team members.
Provide guidance and technical support to the taxation team.
Handle client queries and maintain skilled communication with Australian clients.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of taxation and compliance work.
Stay updated with changes in Australian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Identify errors and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Assist in managing team workflow and meeting deadlines.
Support the management team with taxation-related requirements when needed.
Requirements
3–5 years of relevant experience in Australian Taxation.
Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance.
Experience in preparing and reviewing Australian tax returns.
Good understanding of BAS, IAS, GST, and Australian tax laws.
Previous experience in reviewing and mentoring junior team members.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Positive written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Experience working with Australian accounting firms or Australian clients will be preferred.
