Key Responsibilities
Reading Blueprints: Interpreting complex structural blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols to locate and plan assembly sequences.
Layout and Cutting: Measuring, marking, and cutting heavy metal plates, beams, and pipes using torches, plasma cutters, and saws.
Fitting and Alignment: Positioning and aligning structural parts using hydraulic jacks, chain falls, wedges, and clamps before permanent joining.
Tack Welding: Performing temporary tack welds to hold steel or aluminum sections securely in place prior to final welding.
Testing and Inspection: Checking assembled components for dimensional accuracy, squareness, and structural soundness, including conducting air or hydro testing on tanks
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
