Job Description – QA/QC Executive (GIS)

Company: OJAS TECH NOVA PVT. LTD.
Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 2–3 Years
Salary: ₹15,000– ₹20,000 per month

Key Responsibilities
Perform quality checks and validation of GIS/digitization data.
Review completed work for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards.
Identify errors, inconsistencies, and data-quality issues and coordinate for corrections.
Verify GIS layers, attributes, topology, geometry, and spatial data.
Conduct regular quality audits of production work.
Maintain QA/QC reports, error logs, and daily quality records.
Coordinate with GIS Engineers, Production Teams, and Team Leaders to improve data quality.
Ensure project deliverables meet client specifications and deadlines.

Required Skills




Good knowledge of GIS and digitization processes.
Experience with ArcGIS/QGIS or similar GIS software.
Understanding of spatial data, attributes, topology, and mapping.
Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
Good communication skills in English and Hindi and Odia.

Qualification
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Remote Sensing, or a related field.

Preferred Candidate: Candidates with 2–3 years of experience in GIS QA/QC, digitization, mapping, cadastral, LULC, or related GIS projects.

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
