Job Title: Dell Enterprise Engineer

Loc: Chennai (Guduvanchery - F2F(2nd round))

Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Dell PowerEdge rack and tower servers.
Diagnose and replace server hardware components, including HDDs/SSDs, memory, CPUs, power supplies, RAID controllers, NICs, and motherboards.
Configure and troubleshoot RAID using Dell PERC controllers.
Perform server firmware and BIOS updates using Dell tools.
Install and support Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
Configure and troubleshoot iDRAC for remote server management.
Perform server health checks, preventive maintenance, and hardware diagnostics.
Troubleshoot boot failures, performance issues, and hardware alerts.
Coordinate with Dell support for warranty cases and spare part replacement.
Document all service activities and update ITSM tickets within SLA timelines.




Provide onsite support for server incidents, planned maintenance, and hardware upgrades.

Qualifications
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.

Experience
2–3 years of experience supporting Dell enterprise servers.
Hands-on experience with Dell PowerEdge server hardware and enterprise data center environments.
Experience in server hardware replacement, firmware upgrades, and warranty support.
