Key Responsibilities
Source fabrics, linings, webbing, zippers, buckles, hardware, trims, labels, packaging, and other bag materials.
Identify and develop new vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
Negotiate prices, MOQ, payment terms, quality, and delivery timelines with vendors.
Take complete ownership of sampling and product development from initial concept to final approved sample.
Coordinate with vendors, designers, sampling, production, quality, and purchase teams.
Prepare and negotiate product/material costing.
Follow up on sample development, corrections, approvals, and finalization.
Ensure approved materials and samples are correctly handed over to production.
Continuously explore recent products, new fabrics, creative materials, new suppliers, and new sourcing ideas.
Visit markets, suppliers, exhibitions, and factories to identify current opportunities.
Develop alternative vendors and sourcing options for better pricing, quality, and reliability.




Resolve vendor and sourcing-related issues independently.
Maintain supplier databases, price lists, sample records, and development status.

Candidate Requirements
3–7 years of experience in bag manufacturing, sourcing, merchandising, textiles, accessories, or product development.
Strong knowledge of bag fabrics, materials, trims, and accessories.
Excellent vendor communication and negotiation skills.
Good understanding of costing and commercial aspects.
Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
Ability to independently manage multiple product developments.
Willingness to travel for market and vendor visits.
Highly proactive, creative, and solution oriented.
Should have the initiative to find recent products and new sourcing opportunities without waiting for instructions.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
