Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and qualified Primary Kannada Teacher to teach Kannada to students at the primary level. The teacher will be responsible for developing students’ language skills through engaging, age-appropriate, and activity-based teaching methods aligned with the CBSE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver Kannada lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
Teach Kannada reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and basic literature.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, and teaching-learning materials.
Use creative and interactive methods such as storytelling, role play, poems, songs, and educational activities.
Assess students through classwork, homework, tests, projects, and other learning activities.
Monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
Provide additional support and remedial teaching to students who require it.
Encourage students to participate in Kannada literary and cultural activities.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning setting.




Maintain accurate academic and assessment records.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ progress and development.
Participate in staff meetings, school events, teacher-training programmes, and other school activities.
Work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff.

Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Kannada or a relevant subject from a recognised university.
B.Ed., D.El.Ed., or equivalent teacher-training qualification.
CTET/TET qualification may be preferred, depending on the school’s requirements.
Good communication skills in Kannada and English.
Previous experience teaching Kannada in a CBSE/English-medium school will be an advantage.
