Position: Quality Engineer – In-Process Quality

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with strong hands-on experience in In-Process Quality and dimensional inspection. The candidate should have practical knowledge of GD&T;, Height Gauge, and Depth Gauge and be capable of identifying and controlling quality issues on the shop floor.

Must-Have Requirements
Full-time Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
Hands-on experience in In-Process Quality in a manufacturing environment.
Solid knowledge of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Practical experience using Height Gauge for dimensional inspection.
Practical experience using Depth Gauge for dimensional inspection.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; symbols.
Experience in dimensional inspection and verification of components as per drawings/specifications.
Positive understanding of tolerances, measurements, and inspection methods.
Ability to identify process deviations and coordinate corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities
Perform in-process inspection at various stages of manufacturing.




Check components as per engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T; requirements.
Carry out dimensional inspection using Height Gauge, Depth Gauge, Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and other measuring instruments.
Identify defects and process deviations and communicate them to the concerned production team.
Ensure compliance with defined quality standards and inspection procedures.
Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring quality issues.
Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams for resolution of process-quality problems.
Monitor rejection, rework, and process defects and support improvement initiatives.
Ensure proper segregation and control of non-conforming material.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
