Set up VMC/CNC machines as per job requirements, tooling layout, and process sheets.
Load programs, verify offsets, and ensure correct tool selection and tool life management.
Conduct trial runs and validate part dimensions before handing over to operators.
Monitor production targets (shift-wise) and ensure timely completion of work orders.
Coordinate with planning, tooling, and quality departments for smooth production flow.
Maintain discipline, productivity, and adherence to work instructions on the shop floor.
Maintain production data sheet, tool consumption logs, rejection/ rework records, and shift handover notes
Ensure proper documentation of process parameters, control plans, and job changeover details.
Train operators and helpers on machine operations, measurement techniques, and quality requirements.
Ensure material inward, transfer internally at various plant for dispatch and packaging.
