Academic Counsellor – Job Description

Position: Academic Counsellor
Employment Type: Full time
Experience: 1–3 years / Freshers can apply

Key Responsibilities
Counsel students and understand their academic and career goals.
Explain courses, programs, eligibility, fees, and career prospects.
Handle student enquiries through calls, messages, and walk-ins.
Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
Maintain student records and counselling reports.
Assist students throughout the admission process.
Coordinate with academic and administrative teams.
Achieve assigned counselling and admission targets.

Requirements
Graduation in any discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred.




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong counselling and convincing abilities.
Positive follow-up and relationship-management skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Office/CRM tools.
Target-oriented, confident, and student-focused approach.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
